(MENAFN) The launch of an innovative new service has been announced by the Department of Economic Development - Ajman (DED-Ajman) that allows investors to automatically renew their trade licenses via SMS.

The move proves the department's ongoing commitment towards providing investors and businesses with an easier and smoother processing of documents, in which will play a key role in the efforts towards achieving total sustainable development for the emirate, a statement said.

The new SMS service is part of the amendments being made for the new licensing system where it also complies with DED-Ajman's standards and guidelines on facilitating business transactions and increasing economic and investment activity in Ajman, it said.
