That’s the verdict of Transfer Window podcast guest Ian McGarry.
City beat their rivals 2-1 at Old Trafford yesterday to move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
But despite ruling the roost in England, McGarry expects Jose Mourinho’s men to do better on the continent.
“They’ve (Manchester United) been very impressive in the Champions League so far,” he said on the latest episode.
“I think they’ve got the players, the talent, and with a bit of momentum they could get to the last four.”

When quizzed about City, he said: “They have the potential to go all the way, but I don’t think they will.
“I think Guardiola will prioritise the title and when we get to the spring he’ll put all his eggs into winning the Premier League - he’s already got the advantage.
“Once those quarter-final ties come up they’ll be important Premier League games to get the title so I think they’ll focus on those and go out in the quarter-final stage.”
