Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray's son Amit is getting engaged in Mumbai today. Amit, Raj's son, will exchange rings with his long-time girlfriend Mitali Borude, who operates a fashion boutique in the city.

The couple has been dating for some years now. According sources close to the Thackeray clan, the engagement will be a low key affair and will take place at the MNS supremo's Shivaji Park residence, Krishna Kunj.

Amit has been active in politics and has been accompanying his father to party meetings and rallies. Mitali, on the other hand, is the daughter of popular bariatric surgeon Dr Sanjay Borude.

Last year she teamed up with Amit's sister Urvashi, a fashion designer, to open a fashion boutique in Mumbai.

While just a selected few family and friends have been invited to today's engagement, all eyes will be on whether Raj's estranged cousin Uddhav, the chief of MNS rival Shiv Sena, and his family will show up to the do.
