The passerby has been identified as 45-year old Virendra Yadav. He raped the teenager on the pretext of helping her. The police have registered a case against all the three accused and Yadav has been arrested by the police. Out of the other two accused, one Sumit has also been arrested as well while the other remaining accused is still at large and the police are on a hunt to nab him. It has also been reported that the other accused, Shubham, is an acquaintance of the survivor. 

As per reports, Shubham had taken the survivor out on the pretext of having some snacks, but insisted met the other accused, Sumit.  Later, the two men took her to a secluded place where they raped her and then fled. The survivor managed to walk till the main road where she started looking for help and met Virendra. In her complaint, the survivor has claimed that Virendra, on the pretext of helping her, also took her to a secluded place and raped her again. 

On reaching home, the girl informed her family, who later lodged a complaint with the police. The survivor has been admitted in a hospital and has been reported to be in a stable condition now. She has also been reported to having been a patient of initial stage blood cancer.
