The Emmerdale star tied the knot with the 27-year-old in August and they are already parents to three-year-old son Teddy. 

And the pair are overjoyed to be expanding their brood as they revealed they conceived their unborn baby on their wedding night. 

Adam told OK! magazine: "It took my totally by surprise. I have to say, I lost my head a bit over it. 

"I immediately cracked open the gin. We always wanted another baby but we weren't planning for it to happen so soon after getting married."

Despite their happiness, Caroline admitted she felt unwell in the early stages of pregnancy, confessing: "I felt totally fine during my pregnancy with Teddy, but this time around I've been so sick. 

"At one point it got so bad that I ended up in hospital… I've never known anything like it, I was constantly being sick and I lost nearly a stone in weight."

However, now Caroline is feeling better, the pair are looking to the future and have already chosen a potential name for the tot. 

"If it's a boy I like the name Paddington," Adam dished. "Teddy loves the name too."

Caroline added: "I'm not sure about that, although we could call him Paddy for short, which goes well with Teddy. 

"I teach a lot of kids so it's hard to find a name that I don't already associate with one of our students."

While the pair may have chosen a name if the baby is a boy, Adam, 29, said he'd also be thrilled if it's a girl. 

"I've not cried throughout the pregnancy but if I find out we're having a girl I probably will cry," he commented.
