Vadodara: Dabhoi police raided a house in the town and seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 8.78 lakh on Sunday. Acting on a tip-off, a team raided a house in Pratham Tenament. "The house was locked but there was strong stench of emanating. We entered from the terrace of the house through adjoining building," said a cop.
Cops found 6,697 bottles of liquor. Police said that the house belongs to Hiteshkumar Makhijani and he has been declared as absconding. Makhijani has been made accused in the case since they found an electricity bill in his name. tnn
