The Bachelor: Countdown to Arie
ABC, 10 ET/PT

The Bachelor franchise shocked and confused its fans in September when the franchise announced that the next man handing out roses will be Arie Luyendyk Jr., the runner-up from Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette in 2012. It's a departure for the franchise, which usually chooses a finalist from the most recent season to be the next Bachelor or Bachelorette. But if fans need a refresher on the 35-year-old race car driver, they can tune in for this special, which will reintroduce him with flashbacks to his time on The Bachelorette, where he was known as "the kissing bandit," and includes interviews with him and his family about why he decided to return to reality TV. The special also checks in on Bachelor couples including Rachel Lindsay and her fiancé, Bryan Abasolo.
