(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) MIRAN SHAH: The security forces claimed to have foiled a sabotage bid and seized a huge cache of explosives, arms and ammunition during search operations in North Waziristan and Orakzai agencies.

The security forces officials said that the law enforcement agencies have found the suicide vests at an abandoned tunnel in Miran Shah and defused them.

In another operation conducted in Lower Orakzai, the forces, while acting on a tip off, recovered huge cache of weapon buried near local population.

The weapons include 11 rockets, five rocket chargers, a heavy machine gun, a pressure cooker bomb, a mortar shell, two bomb controller and bags of explosives. The forces also arrested a suspected person who was shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
