Young man found dead in Padma

A young man was found dead in Padma river near Padma Garden area in Rajshahi city on Monday morning.

The deceased was Mamun-ur-Rashid, 17, son of Faruque Ahmed, a resident of Rajahata area in city.

Boalia Police Station officer in-charge Amanullah said that local people spotted the body near the bank of the river around 11:00am.

Being informed, police recovered and sent the body to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue.
