Roger Federer trolled: Swiss star's own KIDS remind dad Rafael Nadal is No 1
ROGER FEDERER was crowned Swiss Sportsman of the Year on Sunday night.
And after receiving the top gong the tennis star revealed his own kids had trolled him about being behind Rafael Nadal in the world rankings.
Federer went up against gymnast Pablo Bragger, downhill skier Beat Feuz, ice hockey player Roman Josi and handball ace Andy Schmid for the accolade.
And he saw a year in which he won his 18th and 19th Grand Slam titles respectively rewarded with 37 per cent of the vote.
Federer’s victory is the sixth of his career and it will have done no harm to his confidence.

The 36-year-old revealed his own children had taken a swipe at him before he received the award though.
"After dinner my kids asked me where I was going," he said.
"I told them there is this awards gala where I could win a prize.

"Then they said: 'But isn't Rafa number 1?!'"
Federer’s revelation was apparently met with laughter by the audience at the CS Sports Awards.
Federer will be hoping to win his 20th career Grand Slam at the Australian Open in January.
