Nashik: The Shiv Sena on Monday retained the Igatpuri Municipal Council (IMC) in Nashik district by winning 13 out of 18 seats in the election, results for which were declared on Monday.

Out of remaining five, the BJP won four seats while an Independent walked away with one seat.

The election for the 18-member IMC was held yesterday.

Sena's Sanjay Indulkar has been declared president of the municipal council.
