east avenue. ### lauren lauren it's showtime at the chico theater company... it's a wonderful life, the musical is in its second week of performances. action news now reporter laura eng stopped by the show and joins us with more details...laura? reporter this show is full of humor, warmth, and plenty of emotions. the musical is based on the classic film as it follows george bailey's life from his childhood dreams to his midlife disappointments . there are 28 cast members that bring the story to life...and they've been working very hard to make a great product. nat sot full that's george bailey. and now he's one of us! cont vo this is the perfect show for the holidays... main character, george bailey, wishes he had never been born and an angel is sent to earth to make george's wish come true. as george sees how many lives he has touched and how things would be different if he was never there, george discovers that he already had a wonderful life. sot full was written about ten years ago but it's never been done here in chico so this is the northern california debut, but it's a very fun show because it stays same time brings an element of some really good music. some really inspirational music. vo the chico theater company has been around for 14 years...and thanks to its success.. it has just been able to buy its own building... reporter live if you would like to see the show, it's a wonderful life performs thursdays through sundays until december 15th. adults are 22 dollars ... seniors are 20 and youth are 16 dollars. laura eng, action news now.### lauren
