an update on our lane county firefighters who are in southern california. chief terry ney... from lane fire authority... has been in contact with the crews. he says the strike team one remains in ventura county... battling the thomas fire. strike team two... is re- deploying from los angeles county to the san diego area. they'll soon be fighting the lilac fire. ney says all team members are safe and sound this morning.
