MGKV to have own weather sensors

VARANASI: Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth and three of its affiliated colleges will soon have their own automatic weather stations (AWS) equipped with high definition weather sensors.


According to MGKV vice chancellor Prof Prithvish Naag, the purpose of establishing AWS in campuses of university and affiliated colleges is to enable students and research scholars to get data even on weather conditions for analysis.


He said mainly the students, scholars and scientists of agriculture science would be benefitted by it but it will also help students of geography and environment science.
