DJB’s Jansampark Shivir resolves 1k complaints on spot

The “Jansampark Shivir” organised by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for time-bound and speedy redressal of grievances regarding 'Meter reading and Bills related issues' has resolved 1,020 complaints on the spot.

A senior DJB official said the Shivir, which was organised from November 11 toto December 9, has got a massive response from the consumers. On the first day, Jan Sampark Shivirs were organised in Malviya Nagar,Greater Kailash, Giri Nagar, Saket, Sultanpuri and  Burari Zonal Offices, where 189 complaints were resolved on the spot and 831 complaints were also redressed in18 zonal revenue.

“The initiative was started for effective redressal of grievances of the esteemed customers. DJB is committed to reach out its consumers and try responding, in a time bound manner. On the last day of the major Consumer outreach program, for the convenience of consumers, Delhi Jal Board addressed 265 number of complaints in the “Jansampark Shivir”, a release from the DJB stated.

The DJB official further said “The Shivirs are launched in addition to other grievance redressal mechanism available on mSeva mobile app and DJB website www.djb.gov.in.”
