Former British celebrity publicist Max Clifford dies in prison

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's best-known publicist, Max Clifford, died on Sunday after collapsing in prison, where he was serving an eight-year sentence for indecently assaulting teenage girls in the 1970s and 1980s.

Disgraced former celebrity publicist Max Clifford has died, the Ministry of Justice said. The 74-year-old was said to be "in a bad way" after collapsing twice at Littlehey Prison in Cambridgeshire, where he was serving an eight-year jail sentence for historic sex offences.
