more-in

Complaints about illegal parking, rash driving, and security threats posed by migrant labourers dominated the meeting between various residents’ associations and the Kochi city police here on Saturday.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner of Police A.R. Prem Kumar said immediate action would be taken on complaints raised by the public. To check the rising number of accidents in the city, he requested the public to report traffic violations by sending a message or photo via WhatsApp to 9497990061.

Other issues raised at the meeting included ban on late-night trade on Market Road, lack of proper bus stops on Kaloor-Kadavanthra Road, need for police patrolling on pocket roads, and widening of the road near Lulu Mall.
