DHAKA: A 14-storey shopping mall caught fire in Dhaka’s Uttara early Sunday (December 10).
Fire service members, however, brought the blaze under control within two hours since the origination.
Fire Service Assistant Director Masudur Rahman told Banglanews that the fire originated from the stove of a food store at the third floor of Natore Tower, located at Uttara sector no.3, at around 12:30pm.
As many as 11 fire service units brought the fire under control at around 2:00am.
None was reported injured in the incident.
However, the extent of damage couldn’t be measured immediately.
