Taliban reacts as Afghan forces bust major treatment facility of the group

The Taliban group reacted as the Afghan officials in Wardak province claims that a major treatment facility of the group was busted by the Afghan security forces in this province.
The Taliban group spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid issued a statement and called the claims by Wardak officials a propaganda.
Mujahid further added that the clinic was approved by the International Committee of the Red Cross and was providing healthcare services to the local residents.
He also added that no Taliban insurgent has been killed or wounded or detained by the security forces during the operation and the government has no evidence to confirm Taliban’s links with the clinic.
The local government and security officials in central Maidan Wardak province on Friday put on display the equipments seized from a medical facility belonging to the Taliban insurgents.
According to the local officials, the treatment facility was discovered an operation in Syedabad district on Thursday.
The officials further added that the facility was used for the treatment of the Taliban insurgents from different provinces including Paktia, Ghazni, and other restive parts of the country.
The facility, which was well-equipped, was used for the treatment of the wounded Taliban insurgents besides sophisticated surgeries were performed, the officials added.
According to the officials, several Taliban insurgents including some of their commanders were killed during the operation and some weapons and ammunition were also seized.
