Simon Mignolet - 6 out of 10
Had no meaningful saves to make all game. Caught a couple of crosses and came of his line well, but in truth Jurgen Klopp could have gone in goal.

Joe Gomez - 6
Linked up very well with Salah to torment the Everton defenders on Liverpool’s right wing.

Dejan Lovren -3
Needlessly gave away a penalty in the 75th minute to let Everton back into the game. Foolish stuff which marred a quiet game for Everton’s attack.

Ragnar Klavan - 6
No nonsense defending, unlike his partner. Surprisingly inventive with his passing when venturing forward.

Andy Robertson - 6
Very impressive performance from 23-year-old. He was adventurous in attack and did not fall short of quality when delivering crosses.

Industrious play in the middle of the pitch and moved the ball quickly to keep attacks ticking over.

Mohamed Salah - 8
Scored another quality goal in the first half. He is certainly staking a good claim to be the signing of the season.

Dominic Solanke - 6
His inclusion was a surprise ahead to the game but given how deep Everton were, not a bad choice. His hold up play and strength was useful for Liverpool.

Sadio Mane - 5
Should have squared a pass when through on goal but instead selfishly shot wide.

Jordan Pickford - 6
Could do little about Salah’s opener. Put his head amongst the boots to make some brave stops.

Jonjoe Kenny - 6
Was everywhere and put in numerous useful blocks and tackles in last-ditch areas.

Mason Holgate - 5
Challenged Solanke in the air a few times and stuck to his task well when defending deep.

Recklessly dived in on a few occasions to free up space for Liverpool attackers to run into.

Cuco Martina - 3
Brushed aside like he wasn’t there by Salah on his way to his goal. Totally embarrassing defending all game.

Wayne Rooney - 7
Curiously started on the right side of midfield perhaps to nullify Mane which did not always happen. Cool penalty to level the score.
