Solaiman president, Hashem secy in Rangamati timber traders' poll

Rangamati: Haji Md Solaiman Chowdhury has been elected president and Haji Md Abul Hashem Abu secretary respectively in Rangamati Timber Traders Co-operative Society, a leading organization of timber traders in the hill district.

Chowdhury elected president for the third time in the 10th management committee election.

Election Commissioner Upazila Cooperatives Officer Ashish Kumar Das announced the results of the election held on Saturday.

The other office-bearers are :  Haji Md Azam Khan Chowdhury (vice president), Haji Md Nurul Alam (joint secretary), Bakhtiar Hossain Chowdhury (finance and planning secretary),
Md Lokman Hakim Hira (social service secretary),  Md Nurul Islam (information and publication secretary),  Jahidul Islam Talukder (office secretary) and members Arpan Saha, Md Mozaherul Islam, Md Iqbal Ahmed and Md Alamgir .
