(MENAFN) Following President Trump demand to fire a report of the Washington Post for writing an inaccurate tweet, Rep. Ruben Gallego responded in pointing out that the President refrained from stripping his chief of staff from his position after making an erroneous statement about a Democratic lawmaker.

The response of Gallego came in a tweet posted Saturday which read "your Chief of Staff lied about @RepWilson when are you going to fire him?"

In his remark, Gallego was indicating John Kelly who accused Rep. Frederica Wilson of claiming recognition for funding a building of the FBI, even though a video played as evidence in proving otherwise.
