TJAC to ask unemployed youth to write to Guv, CM

HYDERABAD: As part of its efforts to continue the fight against the state government over unemployment issue, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) headed by M Kodandaram decided to make unemployed youth in the state write letters en masse to Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urging them to take steps to fill all vacant posts in the government. 
The organisation also resolved to take up a state-level signature campaign in all universities and colleges by students and job-seekers demanding that the government issue notifications to fill all vacancies in various departments at the earliest.

TJAC’s steering committee met at Kodandaram’s house on Saturday and expressed satisfaction over the way the organisation had conducted the Koluvula kai Kotlata (Fight for jobs) in Hyderabad. The organisation members also decided to take up issues relating to farmers, henceforth more aggressively. On December 17, a state-level workshop will be organised in Hyderabad for all the TJAC members on the problems being faced by farmers in the State.

After that, the TJAC members in each district will undertake study tours to know the problems being faced by ryots in their respective district. Based on the feedback they get from farmers, the TJAC will chalk out a concrete action plan to take up issues concerning ryots from January on wards.

“A massive public meeting and protest programme to highlight the sufferings of farmers will be held in Hyderabad in February, sources informed.The next phase of Telangana Amarula Sphoorthi Yatra (Telangana Martyrs Inspiration Yatra) will be held from December 22 to December 23 in Nalgonda district.

Plan of action
We will continue to exert pressure on the state government over unemployment issue, till it fills all the vacant posts in the government. We have decided to intensify our agitation in support of unemployed youth in the State
