Fresh Ivan Perisic swoop
02:15: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will revive his attempts to sign Ivan Perisic in the January window.
Inter Milan star Perisic was high on Manchester United’s list of priorities in the summer.
However, Milan dug their heels and the Croatia international ended up penning a five-year deal with the Serie A giants.
A £45million price-tag had been slapped on the player at a time in an effort to deter United.
And according to the Sun on Sunday, Perisic’s asking price hasn’t changed.
Mourinho’s £95m Savic bid
01:00: Jose Mourinho is preparing to pay a club record £95million to lure Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Old Trafford.
Mourinho has had his scouts checking out the Serbian international and has decided that he wants to bring him to Old Trafford next summer.
But he will be forced to pay out more than the then world record £89.3million that they paid Juventus to re-sign Paul Pogba in August 2016.
Milinkovic-Savic only cost Lazio £16 million from Belgian side Genk in 2015 but is now one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe.
Manchester City have also been keeping tabs on the player along with Juventus but it is now United who are leading the race to sign him.

Lingard as decisive as De Bruyne
22.00: Stan Collymore thinks Jesse Lingard is in the same bracket as Manchester City duo Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne.
“Never did I think I’d put Jesse Lingard in the same bracket as Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane,” he told the Daily Mirror.
“But if De Bruyne and Sane are the men most likely to make the difference for Manchester City this afternoon, then Lingard can be that man for Manchester United.
“No-one should underestimate the impact a local lad can have in a derby. They can make you sink or swim.”
Fans told to arrive early
20:00: Manchester United have sent an important message to fans on the eve of the derby.
Manchester is expected to descend into chaos tomorrow with more than 76,000 off to Old Trafford and thousands more expected to descend on the Trafford Centre for Christmas shopping.
It is also expected to snow to further complicate matters in the city.
As such, United are telling supporters to arrive at the ground early ahead of the 4.30pm kick-off.
A statement released on the official United website read: "With the eyes of the world on Old Trafford on Sunday for the highly anticipated Manchester derby, supporters are encouraged to plan their journey to the Theatre of Dreams."
Giggs on Lukaku
17.35: Ryan Giggs has told Romelu Lukaku he’s the main man tomorrow.
Lukaku goes into the derby as the big £90m summer signing.
And without Paul Pogba he needs to step up to the plate says Giggs.
Giggs told Sky Sports: "I think centre-forwards go through droughts and when you're a Manchester United forward the scrutiny multiplies and that was always going to be the case.
"I said at the start of the season Lukaku will be judged on the big games because he'll score goals, there's no doubt about that. The big games are what will define him as a being a really great United centre-forward."
Giggs on Wales job
15.00: Ryan Giggs has declared his interest in the vacant Wales job.
Giggs has been out of work since leaving Manchester United following the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
And he admits he’d be keen to replace Chris Coleman.
"Of course I'm interested," Ryan Giggs told Sky Sports.
"I've played for Wales and I've said that I want to go back into coaching. Obviously, that is one of the top jobs. I played for United, I played for Wales.
"I've not spoken to anyone at the moment, but I'd definitely be interested."
Mourinho regretted Inter exit
13.00: Jose Mourinho regretted leaving Inter Milan for Real Madrid, according to Massimo Moratti.
Mourinho made the move after guiding Inter to the Champions League title.
And the Inter CEO revealed Mourinho instantly regretted the decision.
“That Champions League Final was the end of a journey and as Interisti we appreciated the difficulties of getting there more than the final result,” Moratti said. “After all, we couldn’t even celebrate it to the full, because after Mourinho left so soon afterwards.
“A year beforehand, Mourinho had told me that there was interest from Real Madrid. Then it was repeated. You cannot keep people prisoner, but it certainly wasn’t nice to see (Real Madrid President Florentino) Perez waiting in the car for Mou outside the Champions League Final at the Bernabeu.
“Mourinho himself regretted it even before he had made the move: a few hours later, in my office in Milan, he told me that he realised he was going to a business and not a family. Mourinho said that if he could, he would’ve remained at Inter.
“I told him to make his choices in absolute freedom. His tears upon leaving were real and I am pleased that still to this day he says he supports Inter.”
Ronaldo transfer bombshell
11:30: Cristiano Ronaldo could have signed for Arsenal, Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed.In an interview with France Football, Ferguson revealed all on the conversation he had with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes in 2009
That followed a friendly between United and Sporting where Ronaldo had stunned Red Devils players with his performance.
Fergie said: "I spoke with Ronaldo and Jorge Mendes and he said we had to hurry because Arsenal and Real Madrid wanted to sign him.
"I told Ronaldo to join us. He explained he'd have to talk with his mother about it."
Man Utd trial
10:40: Manchester United have reportedly invited Canadian starlet Alphonso Davies to train with them in January.
And according to Canadian outlet CTV, United want to take a look at the teenager.
It’s claimed the deal is dependent on clearance and approval from Vancouver but if agreed, Davies will link up with United in the new year.

United consider offers for two players
07:00: United will consider winter offers for Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian.
The pair were signed by Louis van Gaal but life under Jose Mourinho has been far from a happy time.
They have played just 195 minutes of Premier League football between them this season and are both out of contract in June.
The Daily Record claim Shaw has been offered to other English clubs by representatives in an effort to resurrect his career.

Giggs gives Pogba verdict
06:00: Manchester United tactics will be affected due to the absence of Paul Pogba, says Ryan Giggs.
"Losing Pogba is a big blow," he admitted on Sky Sports show, The Debate.
"Because I definitely think they would have played like they did against Arsenal.
"They got men behind the ball and then counter attacked. Lingard, Rashford, Martial, Lukaku and Pogba powering forward.
"Last week was brilliant watching United, it was like going back to Arsenal 10 years ago but losing Pogba is a big blow."
