International seminar at BAU

International seminar and internship closing & certificate giving ceremony for animal husbandry faculty students was held at Syed Nazrul Islam Bhavan of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) yesterday (Saturday).
At 10 pm, BAU pro-VC Prof Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan inaugurated the program as chief guest while dean of animal husbandry faculty Prof Dr Md Ashraf Ali presided over the program.
President of Bangladesh Animal husbandry Association (BAHA) Prof Dr Syed Sakhawat Husain and DG of Rural Development Academy (RDA) MA Matin attended as a special guest.
Professors from China, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, and Bangladesh spoke at the seminar titled "Animal Husbandry Education and Research in Asian Countries".
This year, 17 students had got chance to internship abroad for the first time from 153 students of animal husbandry faculty.
