Dimapur, Dec. 10 (EMN): Kohima College is all set to begin its 50th college week from Dec. 11 to the 15th under the banner “Seeking new horizons,” with principal of the college Dr.Watijungshi Jamir as the chief host and vice principal, Thinuokhrienuo Tseikha as the host.
The first day of the event will be marked by literary day where Sarah R Ritse, secretary of the School Education will grace the session as guest speaker. Literary competitions such as essay writing, poetry writing, story-telling, extempore speech, vernacular, debate, dance and singing competitions are highlights of the day.
The second day will witness Naga wrestling, wherein 46 wrestlers will wrestle for the jubilee champ. President of Nagaland Wrestling Association will be the special guest.
The third, fourth and fifth day will witness athletics, football (men), volleyball (men and women), cricket (men) and other indoor games.
Executive engineer, PWD Roads & Bridges, Abija Khing, will grace closing ceremony of the college week as guest of honor.
