Coming on the back of 1-0 away victory Delhi Dynamos, Jamshedpur FC appeared confident taking on FC Pune City at home. But the new IPL side failed to find the back of the net and suffered a 1-0 defeat. A goal by Adil Khan in the 30th minute gave a 1-0 lead to the away team and in spite of several attempts, Jamshedpur FC failed to make a comeback and dropped points.

Steve Coppell’s boys had earlier kept four consecutive clean sheets in the ISL so far and have proved tough to conquer. Coppell also confirmed that defender Anas Edathodika will be out of action for some time. He sustained an injury during Jamshedpur FC’s game against Kerala Blasters. Missing one of their best defenders, Coppell’s side will have their work cut out if they want to keep yet another clean sheet.
