Easy wins for Colts, VVR in Road to Mecca b/ball

Victory Valley Royals and Colts secured easy wins when the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) ‘Road to Mecca’ Club Championship continued Friday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.

Colts defeated Amelia’s Ward Jets 65-50. Stanton Rose was the main threat for the defending champions with 19 points and four assists while Shane Webster added 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Veteran guard Dave Causeway tallied nine points, seven steals and four assists while Dennis Niles chipped in with seven points…..
