Chris Rea CANCELS gig after being rushed to hospital following on-stage collapse
CHRIS REA has cancelled tonight's performance after being hospitalised following an on-stage collapse in Oxford last night.

The Driving Home For Christmas hit-maker will no longer perform at the Brighton Centre tonight, with the venue confirming the news in a series of tweets.
"*CANCELLATION* Statement from Chris Rea's Promoters," they wrote. "Unfortunately Chris Rea has had to cancel tonight's show at Brighton Centre due to illness.
"A decision about the outstanding date on his UK tour on 12th Dec at Bournemouth International Centre will be made in the near future."
His management also said that tickets will be refunded.

Chris was said to have collapsed as he was mid-way through one of his tracks during last night's performance.
According to fans who were at the gig, he hans to shake on the floor and was taken away from the venue in an ambulance.
Fans took to Twitter to share the news and comment on Chris’ reported collapse.
“I’m at the New Theatre Oxford. Moments after I took this photo Chris Rea collapsed on stage,” one tweeted. “Fell backwards after shaking and struggling to hold the microphone.”

Another added: “The evening had been brilliant up till now with Chris on top form but Chris Rea has just collapsed on stage at the New Theatre Oxford where I'm watching him.
“Fell backwards in a clump on the stage. Really doesn't look good. I'm quite upset.”
A third continued: “Hope Chris Rea is ok after collapsing on stage tonight in Oxford. #FingersCrossed x.
“Sadly Chris collapsed mid set. Everyone simply hoping he’s ok,” someone else shared.
It has been reported that Chris is in a stable condition.

It comes after the 66-year-old singer suffered a stroke last year.
Speaking about his health battles earlier this year, he said: “I just keep having the worst luck in the world.
“I’m still getting the affects from 15 years ago - because I didn’t die!”
