Woman acts as 'human shield' for illegal truck

A truck driver in Xiangyang City of Hubei Province of China asked his passenger to get out and walk in front of the license plate for him while he was driving slowly at a downtown crossroad where trucks are not allowed.

The scene was captured on a security camera. The video shows the woman stepping down from the front seat and walking in front of the vehicle — directly in front of the number plate.

The truck followed the woman slowly while she led it through the crossroad installed with surveillance cameras.

But traffic police did manage to catch the driver and he was fined 300 yuan (US$45) and lost 15 points from his license.
