Review: Armin van Buuren superb on 'Christmas Days' with Josh Cumbee Special

This makes Armin the first DJ and electronic producer to ever release a Christmas tune. "Christmas Days," featuring Josh Cumbee, is the perfect song to put the electronic listener in the holiday spirit. It is a great soundtrack for this holiday season. This is their second collaboration together after their summer anthem, the radiant "Sunny Days." "Christmas Days" is basically the same song as "Sunny Days,' but with a slower, downtempo version, that features the mellow and soothing vocals of Josh Cumbee. The jingle bells featured in the song, add to its appeal. This track garners an A rating. In a press statement, Armin van Buuren remarked, "A DJ releasing a Christmas carol is not something that easily comes to mind, but when I listened to 'Sunny Days' afterwards, I discovered that the lyrics do have some of that Christmas magic going for them." Most impressive about this track was that it was born within 24 hours of Armin coming up with the idea of the song. The Dutch electronic mega-star shared that idea with Cumbee, and by the next morning, he received the first draft of it, which impressed Armin enough, to the point where he submitted the song to his record label, Armada Music, and within a short matter of time, it was already played on Dutch radio.
