HITS TIME TO ACT: Josh Hemmings finally stands up to his dad

The dramatic scenes will play out this week as Willmott-Brown steps up his plan to turn Albert Square into a swanky new housing development.

Josh was furious when he found out what his dad was planning. He even tried to help Max Branning by handing over his contract to Max’s daughter Lauren.

As viewers know Willmott-Brown dumped him from his plans when his involvement was exposed in the Queen Vic pub.

This week, as the fall-out from the revelations continues, Josh can take no more and lashes out at his dad. He tells him that he’s had enough of the family’s immoral activities and wants nothing more to do with them.

“He’s really struggled”

EastEnders insider

Viewers will have to wait to see how Willmott-Brown reacts. An EastEnders insider said: “Josh adores Lauren and they’d just started dating properly when all the nasty dealings about the property scam came out.

“He’s really struggled to get his head around what his dad, and half-siblings Fi and Luke, have been doing. It’s not right.

“But Willmott-Brown is not someone to be crossed, especially by his own son. He likes to be in control of his children and Josh putting him in his place is not going to end well.”

Make sure you don’t miss the drama by tuning in to the BBC One soap from tomorrow.
