Soldier electrocuted at Panagoda Camp

A soldier died at the Panagoda Army Camp after he was electrocuted at around 3.15 pm yesterday.

Police said the deceased was repairing an electrical connection to a pond inside the camp when the mishap occurred.

The 28-year-old victim was a resident of Palanwatte in Pannipitiya.

Police said that the postmortem will be conducted today (10).
