Zaira Wasim molestation case: NCW, DCW issue notice to Vistara Airlines

After the alleged molestation of actress Zaira Wasim on a Vistara Airlines’ Delhi to Mumbai flight, additional charge chairperson of National Commission for Women (NCW) Rekha Sharma termed it as ahorrifying incident and also questioned why the co-passengers and cabin crew didn’t come to the actor’s rescue. Meanwhile, Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal condemned the incident by calling it a shocking and shameful incident and requested Zaira Wasim to report it to the police so that strict action should be taken against the culprit. DCW has taken a suo-motu cognizance against the incident and also asked the Vistara flight to provide details of the culprit by issuing a notice against them, Maliwal added.
