Body formed to probe Ivy car's loose wheel nuts

NARAYANGANJ, Dec 8: A probe body has been formed to investigate the incident of loosening the wheel nuts of the vehicle carrying Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy.
The four-member probe panel, formed on Thursday headed by NCC Engineer Azgar Hossain, was asked to submit its report as soon as possible.
NCC Chief Executive Officer Ehteshamul Hoque said the mayor was heading towards Dhaka to pay tributes to late Dhaka North City mayor Annisul Huq on December 2. When it reached Bananni area, the driver stopped the vehicle, hearing an unusual sound.
He later noticed that three out of six nuts of a wheel went missing while the rest found loosened.
Later, Ivy said it is unusual to get all the six nuts of a wheel loosened and some missing at a time. "It's a matter of concern."    —UNB
