Rajkot: A man was stabbed over an old enmity near Manharpara fire brigade in Rajkot on Friday evening.
Police said Shakti Tolia (25), a resident of Chunaravad area in Rajkot, was stabbed in his ribs by the accused identified as Saddam.
"Tolia was sitting at a paan shop near Manharpara fire brigade along with his friend Rajesh Chawda (26) when Saddam along with his accomplices Faizal, Tausif and Bhaijan arrived on two bikes. After stabbing Tolia twice, Saddam fled from the spot," an official from Thorala police station said.
Tolia was rushed to the Rajkot Civil Hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
"Preliminary investigation has revealed that Saddam had an old enmity with Tolia and the attack was the result of it," said the official adding that the cops have launched a manhunt for Saddam.
