Lewis Hamilton: Mercedes star receives F1 world championship trophy at star studded event
LEWIS HAMILTON was presented with his fourth Formula One world championship last night at the prize giving ceremony in Paris.

The Mercedes driver saw off Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel to win the title this year, bouncing back from losing out to Nico Rosberg in 2016.
At the event in France, Hamilton was handed the trophy by FIA president Jean Todt.
“This has been an amazing year,” Hamilton told the audience.
“I hope that next year’s an even better year for all of you. I know for me that I‘m going to try to do better.”
At the prize giving event, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was named Personality of the Year for the third successive year.
Verstappen said: “I always try to be honest and straightforward so I guess that gave me the personality again this year.
“It was a hard season but I learnt a lot from it.”
Elsewhere Charles Leclerc, who won the Formula Two title and will race for Sauber in 2018, won the Rookie of the Year award.
British teenager Billy Monger, who’s lower legs were amputated after an horrific crash during a race in April, received a special award from Todt.
