CM orders strict action against various complaints of Fatehabad residents

Chandigarh: In a public hearing, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar ordered a vigilance probe against the general manager of Cooeprative Bank of Fatehabad on Friday. Meanwhile, he also asked for the suspension of a staff nurse of community health centre in Fatehabad district. On the first day of his two-day visit to the district, he addressed several other complaints by the residents.

It was alleged that the general manager, Narsi Ram, had re-issued loans to those were declared defaulters by the bank and did not provide funds to various needy and eligible people.

On a complaint made by Rekha, a resident of Bhaini Akbarpur village, CM Khattar ordered suspension a nurse posted at a community health centre (CHC). In her complaint Rekha alleged that instead of performing her delivery at the CHC, the nurse forwarded her case to a private hospital, which charged her Rs 17,000.


Taking action against illegal acquisition of surplus land of village, the CM directed to get the entire matter investigated by the vigilance bureau.


Stepping up against unauthorised construction at Ratia town, the CM directed the subdivisional magistrate to remove such structures and added that such activities would not be tolerated.


On a complaint received against oriental insurance company regarding issuing claims to beneficiaries under Pashudhan Bima Yojana, the CM directed the deputy director of animal husbandry and dairying department Kashi Ram to take action as per the rules.
