Under the title "we control the matter", referring to the recent breaking news of U.S. moving its embassy to Al-Quds and recognizing it as capital of Israel, Al-Riyadh newspaper stated that the U.S. biased position will never qualify it as honest mediator of peace between Palestinians and Israelis, adding that the move has totally killed any hope of peace through the once-known middle east peace process.
However, the paper gave an account on the unprecedented world protest to Trump decisions, citing the outrage of the whole Arab and Islamic worlds in addition to other western countries, led by France and Russia, two veto-holding powers in the UN Security Council.
The paper recalled the most prominent security council resolutions rejecting the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories since 1967 and calling for restoring the rights to their owners, depicting the U.S. administration's recent decisions as contradictory to the world consensus legally and virtually.
Al-Riyadh concluded that this means that it is a good opportunity to continue demanding to get our inalienable rights in the city well-known to be the first Qibla, direction for Muslim worshippers, third holy mosque in the Muslim world and site of Prophet Mohammed's midnight ascension to the seven heavens.
