AMMAN —AlGhad— Foreign Affair Minister Ayman Safadi and Palestinian counterpart Riyadh Maliki held a closed meeting today, Saturday, at the office of the Arab League's General Secretariat in Cairo, Egypt, ahead of the League's emergency ministerial convention on Donald Trump's most recent decision, recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Just last Wednesday, President Trump set in motion preparations to relocate the US Embassy to the occupied city.

According to Jordan's ambassador to Cairo, Ali Ayed, the ministers will discuss the Palestinian take and vision on the issue at hand, regarding the US recognition.
