NYCS athletics talent hunt held

Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): The National Yuva Cooperative Society (NYCS) Indian Speed Star season lll held its athletics talent hunt for summer olympics 2020 and 2024 at the State Sports Training Centre ground, half Nagarjan Dimapur. More than 200 participants took part in the try-off and 10 participants in different categories have been selected to represent Nagaland at the Northeast zonal competition which will be held at Guwahati.
The NYCS coordinator Northeast Amit Das, who attended the event as observer is thankful to all for letting the school children participate and encouraged that more endeavour will be put up for children to give them perspective and outlooks towards those interested in the field of sports.
The NYCS would also like to encourage parents and children to take advantages of the opportunities and programmes to be held by it in the coming months.
