RPF rescued 7 ‘lost’children in November

MARGAO: During the month of November, Konkan Railway's Railway Protection Force (RPF) took action in seven different incidents and arrested criminals involved in the theft of passenger belongings and valuables.


Stolen items worth Rs 2,48,00 were recovered and returned to passengers. In addition, valuables left behind by passengers, approximetely totalling Rs 4,80,000 had been returned to the rightful owners, a press note stated.


Seven 'lost' children were rescued due to the efforts of RPF personnel at various stations over Konkan Railway in the month of November 2017, the note adds.
