Carlo Ancelotti to Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham? Manager moves back to London

CARLO ANCELOTTI has put Premier League clubs looking for a new manager on red alert by moving to London.

The Italian, who led Chelsea to the Premier League and FA Cup double in 2010, was sacked by Bayern Munich in September.

He has not yet sought out a new position despite the Italy post being free.

This week the former AC Milan and Juventus coach moved out of his apartment in Munich.

And, according to sources close to the 58-year-old, his belongings were being moved to the house he has still kept in London.

Ancelotti has been linked to a host of top jobs, but this week revealed he has rejected the chance to take over as the new coach of Italy as he wants to stay in club football.

"I would like to continue to train a club team,” he said.

“The national team would be like changing jobs.

"Italian football has problems and I do not think I can solve them on my own. It's a federation problem."

Italy are desperate to find a new head coach after sacking Gian Piero Ventura following their failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Italian Ancelotti, who has also been linked with a return to Milan and Juventus, has told friends that he wants to take the rest of the season off before considering any offers next summer.

Ancelotti has been linked with a return to Chelsea, where he was sacked in 2011, if Antonio Conte leaves this summer.

Conte has plenty of admirers on the continent.

But Ancelotti has also been linked with Tottenham if Mauricio Pochettino moves on.

And he is even a potential replacement for Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
