Happiness helps in keeping you healthy

We should try to remain happy with little things in life as happiness helps in keeping body healthy, said Dr Bharat Rawat of Medanta hospital, Indore at Health Talk organized at State Police Headquarters on Friday.

He said that we should laugh often as it keeps heart happy. It should be remembered that apart from medicines and operations by doctors there are several things which have to be taken care of to remain happy and healthy. 

Dr Rawat shared important information regarding health issues and easy ways to handle emergency medical situations like two pills of Aspirin could save from Cardiac arrest at the time of cardiac attack and one should not force relatives and friends for overeating and making them suffer from disorders.

 

He said that any kind of chest pain should not be assumed to be related with heart disorders as there are other reasons of chest pain.

The edible oil for a person should be 15 ml per day and filtered oil is better than refined oil and heating multiple times would increase transfat.

Most of the bakeries do not use good quality oil in making their products.

Regular exercise, Pranayam yoga and meditation are very useful and doctors should also adopt these things for living healthy and fit.
