About 25,000 youth would get employment on January 12, the National Youth Day, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said today.
"To eradicate poverty and unemployment, job opportunities are being created in government and private sectors... In this endeavour, 25,000 youths will get employment on Vivekananda Jayanti," Das said here.
Thereafter, every year, one lakh youth would be employed, an official release said, quoting him.
Das said in order to uplift Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, the 'Udyami Sakhi Mandal' would be set up and village coordinators sent to 32,000 villages.
