Operations at Hambantota Port to be commenced today

According to the joint venture agreement signed on the Hambantota Port operations will be commenced today (09).

The Cabinet also ratified the agreement on Thursday (07).

Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Sri Lanka Government, China Merchants Port Holdings Private Limited, Hambantota International Port Group and Hambantota International Port Services signed the agreement for the development of Hambantota Port.
