Abdus Samad passes away

Abdus Samad, father of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) senior reporter Fazlul Haq, breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College Hospital yesterday. He was 85.

Samad had been undergoing treatment at DMCH for the last two days due to stroke, says a press release.

He left behind his wife, six sons, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers.

Samad's namaz-e-janaza will be held today and will be buried at his family graveyard in Hazirtek village of Araihazar uapazila in Narayanganj, family sources said.
