Moheshkhali youth shot dead

Cox's Bazar: A young man was shot dead by rival group in Hoanok Kalagazi Para area in Moheshkhali upazila early Saturday.

Deceased Abu Kaisar, 18, was son of former UP member Jonab Ali of the area.

Father of the victim alleged that a group of 30 to 40 of Jalal Bahini including Syed Mia, Ramiz, Khorshed, Bakkar, Absar, Amin attacked his house and opened fire to Kaisar, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Moheshkhali Police Station officer in-charge Pradip Kumar Das confirmed the matter but could not inform in details.
