(MENAFN - Pajhwok Afghan News) (Pajhwok): Seven civilians were killed and nine others wounded in a bomb blast near the house of Second Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Khan in Kabul on Friday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses at the scene in Sar area said all the victims were civilians and the dead included a woman.

They said three vehicles standing nearby were damaged in the explosion. However, it could not be ascertained whether it was a bomb blast or a gas cylinder explosion.

As of 4pm, the area remained cordoned off by security forces who did not allow anyone to enter the scene.

There was no claim of responsibility for the incident.
