‘It’s NOT good enough!’ Farage's furious reaction to Theresa May's 'PATHETIC' Brexit deal

NIGEL FARAGE gave a furious reaction to Theresa May’s “pathetic” Brexit deal and said the UK will be tied to the European Union for at least six years after its vote to leave the bloc.

host Nick Ferrari burst out laughing when Mr Farage mocked May over the breakthrough. Mr Farage said: “Jolly well done. You’ve made some progress so I think we will allow you to sit your A Levels next summer.”

Mr Farage said May had crossed her red lines. He said: “But what you are asking for Mrs May is you want to stay a member of the European Union for a further two years. But we’ll call it a transition phase.

“Any new rules that get made during that two-year period, indeed any fresh budgetary obligation that come up in that two-year period you will have to comply with.

“But at no stage during that time can you have a say or a vote. Great, isn’t it?”

Nick Ferrari said: “She’s folded, Nigel.”

Mr Farage responded: “Oh, it’s pathetic.”

“I knew when I wanted her saying live that the rights of three million EU citizens would be upheld by EU court of justice I knew she was lying then.”

Mr Farage said that Britain will stay part of the European Court of Justice for 8 years despite it being one of the “key reasons people voted for Brexit”.

Mr Farage said Brits will be tied to the six years after voting to leave the Brussels bloc. He said: “In reality, it means that this transition phase by which I mean membership of the EU but not in name, is going to go on until the next general election and that will be nearly six years after people voted Brexit.

“It’s just not good enough.”

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker have agreed that enough progress been made on key Brexit issues in order to move on to trade talks.

Negotiators have now published the full text of the agreement, which Mrs May said her DUP partners had agreed to back after "significant improvements" were made.

European Council President Donald Tusk demanded the UK obey EU rules during the transition period - including new edicts handed down by Brussels.

Speaking from Brussels, Mr Tusk said: “This morning I received the confirmation from our negotiators that sufficient progress had been made

“We should start negotiating the transition deal so people and business have clarity about the situation. The UK has asked for a transition deal of about two years”

However, he added: “We have our conditions. I propose that during this period the UK will respect the whole of EU law including new law.
